Caution! Cheesy jokes are coming! Cue your best eye roll, tired scoffs, and little chuckles as we unleash a serious amount of dad jokes on you. Dad jokes are a nod to the nostalgic. You may have fond memories of your own dad telling you a cheesy joke during road trips or whenever you pass a certain landmark. Every. Time. When you were young, you may have laughed so hard you had to change your pants, but as you grew, you got too "mature" for such childish games. But now, when you are facing the stress of life, and things have gotten harder, you are ready to return to a simpler kind of humor. One that reeks of your childhood and simpler times. Or maybe you are one of the lucky ones that have never lost the innocent joy of childhood, and a well-timed silly joke has always continued to inspire a simple smile or a belly full of laughs. You escaped the trap of "growing up" and growing out of the beauty of a good dad joke. No matter who you are or where you are from, dad jokes are an innocent (sometimes) joke delivered in just the right way, and at just the wrong-ish time, so that everyone around you either rolls their eyes and sighs, or giggles with delight. And chances are, if you delivered it well, even those rolling their eyes at you are secretly rolling with laughter on the inside. Dad jokes are just that good. So if you are ready to dive into the wonderful world of gross bathroom humor, lame jokes, and ridiculous play on words, you are ready to break open 2,000 Dad Jokes. When you first begin this mini-novel of humor and delight, you will notice the beginning offers you several suggestions on how to deliver a successful dad joke. Do not stress about memorizing all of the beauties written out here for you. Instead, gather the group of the ones that get you laughing, practice the tips on delivery, and then watch people roll their eyes in delight and disdain at you! Some of the delights you can expect to experience in the following pages include: A little background on where dad jokes came from. Clarification on what makes a dad joke and how it is delivered. Tips on how to authentically deliver a dad joke to an admiring crowd (or at least a captivated audience that has no choice but to listen to your silly pun.) Over 250 funny puns and plays on words! Over 330 Questions with the perfect dad approved answers that are sure to garner a few smiles and a lot of sad sighs. An entire anthology on humor inspired by your bathroom habits. Good Jokes and Puns
Author: Kendric C. Smith
Good jokes and puns A Baptist minister and a Unitarian minister were flying to a multi-faith convention. The Unitarian was very nervous and confided to the Baptist that this was the first time he had ever flown and was very scared. The Baptist said that there was nothing to it — "Just sit next to me and I will help you." The Baptist showed him how to put on his seat belt and adjust the air vents. Once in the air, a very pretty flight attendant came by with a tray of drinks. "Cocktails?" she asked. The Unitarian lifted one off the tray and said, "Thank you." The Baptist had just delivered a fiery sermon on the evils of alcohol that morning. He looked at the flight attendant and said, "Young lady, I would rather commit fornication than touch alcohol to my lips." Shocked, the Unitarian placed his drink back on the tray and said, "I believe I would too, I didn't know we had that choice."
Inside the Man Cave
Author: Cindy Rochstein
Category: Biography & Autobiography
Over forty men tell their stories. Reaching deep into the ‘man cave’ we find a combination of humorous, abrasive, personal, intimate and confronting stories that these men have shared. They are “dying to be heard”...literally. There are men in this world hurting, some are anxious, depressed and some, even suiciding. Many of these topics are still considered too taboo to openly discuss, yet in the meantime men continue to suffer in silence. Let their voices reach you, their stories be told, and let them no longer be dying to be heard With my previous book “Women and their stories”, true stories about women of all ages and races, written in their own words and released on International Women’s Day this year, my latest book entitled “MENDEMIC”, is a compilation of short stories about true life events of 40 real gutsy and brave boys and men. It’s all about giving men a voice, showing that it’s OK to “OPEN UP', not 'SHUT UP', what it’s like in the “Man Cave” and is also about promoting men’s health. Likewise, this time around, it’s being released to coincide with a date especially dedicated to men – Movember and International Men's Day. Cindy is a freelance author, blogger from Melbourne, Australia. Self-published, she is launching her latest book at Without Pier Galleries on Friday 15th November (7:30-10:30). A charity auction will also be held, with proceeds going to the Movember Foundation and Kane’s Crusade (a local charity group which raises awareness of suicide in young men).

Author: Max Eastman
Humor at its best is a somewhat fluid and transitory element, but most books about it are illustrated with hardened old jokes from the comic papers, or classic witticisms jerked out of their context. Max Eastman, in this work, avoids this catastrophe by quoting mainly from contemporary American humor. This is not an anthology in that selections have been made with a view to making a point rather than covering the field. The purpose of Eastman's fabled work is to make the reader laugh. Since his early school days, it has seemed to him that textbooks are wrongly written in that they are conducted in a way which ignores the natural operation of the mind. As a result, the opinion is universal, and under the circumstances a fact, that in order to learn anything you have to study. Since this introduction to humor is itself near to writing a textbook, Eastman uses the very text he constructs to illustrate the manner in which textbooks should be written. Examination and classification of the kinds of humorous experience upon the basis of a theory is a science. As such, this work offers a fair chance to illustrate a method of instruction. However, the distinction between a good joke and a bad one will not prevent the reader from making bad jokes nor enable one to make good ones. There is an artistic and playful element that simply cannot be taught. Enjoyment of Laughter presents a total view of the science of laughter and draws upon some of the great American humorists to do so.
